The Clients’ brief was to renovate their family home to better meet their requirements. This included a total renovation of the property, adding as much insulation as possible, replacing the concrete roof tiles with natural slate, extending to the front and rear of the property, creating an additional bedroom, adding ensuites to number three in total, and perhaps most importantly adding a new, modern kitchen in an extension overlooking the extensive rear gardens.

The two extensions are a contemporary design, with zinc roofs, and western red cedar timber cladding, a language that is repeated around the rest of the house.
